The Bangor Opera House was built from 1881 to 1882 and was located at 127-135 Main St., Bangor, Me., by architect Arthur H. Vinal, who was with the Boston architectural firm of Peabody & Stearns. It was built in the Romanesque Revival style after H. H. Richardson. Vinal also designed the Mt. Kineo House and the Calais Public Library.
